‘This companion animal is currently in the Nowzad shelter in Kabul, Afghanistan. If you are interested in adopting then the Nowzad charity will supply you with video and photographs and should the adoption go ahead will fundraise and arrange the transport for this companion animal to come to your home’.



Stapes we believe was actually named Staples as he used to hang out by the stapler on the desk of a local doctor but a typo saw him become known as Stapes! Believed to be around 3 years old Stapes has been at the Nowzad cattery since he was a youngster. One of the friendliest cats you will ever meet – Stapes would be an excellent house cat if you like watching movies with a cat snuggled up on your lap!
